I beg to differ. I bet Vancouver has more windmill palms than Lugano. They plant so many here because the climate is so pathetic, that is all we can grow

Well he drove up there in November when it got a short lived dusting, again using photos of snow up there to show "he" had snow lol

I enjoyed my walk at early afternoon today with the snow. We have 12 to 14 cm of snow on ground. I love this weather. I hope every winter will be like this one... 4rth icy day in a row...

Lows in the 30's aren't "Mild" for South Florida. And a 57/39 sunny day is much better than a 44/39 rainy day.

70 cm was kinda extreme I agree, but we get snow almost every winter, sometimes just a couple of cm, usually more like a foot in total. Sure most winter days are snowless, but snow is not exceptional for here.

Does anywhere in N.I. get that ?

March 2013 was the coldest on record. It was colder than Jan and Feb that year, and they were both cold months as well!

Let's not have a repeat of that.

We have snow in our forecast now, on 3 days! The long range is looking very cold too, with days of 3c/-5c.
