Northern Italy/southern switzerland is beautiful. Lugano is my all time favorite city in Europe now. Absolutely gorgeous, climate is not half bad either. I was street viewing It and there is no city on earth with as many windmill palms as lugano.
I beg to differ. I bet Vancouver has more windmill palms than Lugano. They plant so many here because the climate is so pathetic, that is all we can grow
I enjoyed my walk at early afternoon today with the snow. We have 12 to 14 cm of snow on ground. I love this weather. I hope every winter will be like this one... 4rth icy day in a row...
Yes, an extreme once and a life time winter weather event, not normal everyday wintry weather.
70 cm was kinda extreme I agree, but we get snow almost every winter, sometimes just a couple of cm, usually more like a foot in total. Sure most winter days are snowless, but snow is not exceptional for here.
