Cold air this week is not related to that forecast which is 2 weeks out. If that forecast does verify (BIG IF), the cold spell would last many days or even weeks.

Don't know if a cold spell around March would do too well with the strength of the sun and much longer daylight hours.

In March we've had lots of snow and very cold temps and our sun is much stronger than yours. March 6th 2015, it dipped to -18C here and just 10 days later we reached 23C....

Granted, your cold would be moderated by the ocean, but a PV split if it did happen would certainly mean much colder than normal temps.

Most cold spells can be decent early March but usually they lose their strength by mid-month.
