It makes perfect sense actually, everyone knows that's what averages are & how they are calculated, even weather forecasts will mention it being 'above' or 'below' average. No one else seems to have any problem with this concept...
Lol, you won't get will you ? 3c above average is normality but 3c below average is a record cold snap. That's how averages are made.

From my point of view when the difference is +3/-3 is not more than seasonality because it's impossible to be on average 90% of times. Btw it's just an opinion tho, I don't have any "problem" with that.
You're right some weather forecasts also mention it and if you want to remark that, is ok.
Back home it's now daylight to 6pm, I feel that it should be similar or better here.
Is 'back home' further West as well as further North? That also makes a difference to sunrise and sunset times, if it is further North then at this time of year it will have less daylight hours.
I can not wait temperature of 15c, because I'm tired of this winter. Winter 2016/2017 in most part of Europe is below average, and in North America is warmer than average, same happened in 2012. I remember when in February 2012 was a extreme cold in whole of Europe, at the same time in North America temperatures were above average. Some winters in North America were extreme cold, and at same time in Europe it was warm weather.
I am 100% positive that this year will not be anything like 2012
