It's been cloudy for March though, an average April would be far superior (the rolling 30 year average is 14.8c). That forecast has fairly typical sun amounts for late March and early April though.

This month would be the coldest and cloudiest May on record by far, nothing else would come close. Most days in May are between 16-20c and partly cloudy, though the extremes typically range from 12c to 27c. Would you consider 17-21c normal May temperatures as well?
On the above average side maybe. Though this March is an above average April even?

From the next Monday to the Friday, Rotterdam expects June temperatures, with maximums between 17 and 21°C (weather.com)

Although in June is normal to have various days above 25°C and even a few above 28°C, the average is 20°C.

So our forecast of mostly 14-15c days is normal May weather, yet 17-21c is above average, when the average is 18c? That forecast posted by CG has typical April temps, it would be an extremely poor forecast for May.

The mean temperature for March is currently 9.9c, which is the same as the April mean for 81-10, but below the 30 year rolling average. The highs would be poor for April, and the cloudier than normal skies (which have increased the lows), would be shocking in April.

A typical May has 8 days above 21c and 2 or 3 days above 25-26c, which have not happened this month.

Lol, I was looking at TWC for your forecast. They are warmer... calm down.

I don't know why anyone uses weather.com, accuweather, wunderground or timeanddate for European cities. Their accuracy is shocking, and they can't even get the correct temperatures after they have already been recorded.

Guys nitpicking about what's average and what's not. What's new on C-D?

Not a single cloud today. The wind is annoying though, mean winds around 40 km/h during the warmest part of the day, offsetting the 18-19°C high.

Contrails are short, the air aloft is dry. Cherry buds to the left, wisteria to the right. Wistria buds weren't there two days ago.

I've noticed the low dewpoints over England. Dp pushing -10°C in Odiham:

The contrails here are spreading out all over the place, pretty annoying. Hasn't impacted on the sun though so I guess it's okay.

Glad they aren't down here. What's more annoying than a cirrostratus aeronauticus?

Isn't the Met office a better source? I prefer the public meteorological sites.
