Well above average in much of Iberia although above average in almost all of Iberia. Well above average in most of central, southern, western and eastern Europe plus the UK, also well above in most of Italy, Malta, much of Greece and much of Cyprus (although all of Cyprus was above). Heavily above average in parts of Italy, much of UK, Germany, Belgium and much of France, with a temperature above the August average in Dax (28°C) and a early summer temp in central Italy with 27°C. Much of the UK, France, Belgium and northern Germany had June temps today.
Muslim, why would it be crazy? Not every day sticks to the averages.. yes this weather is above average but it's perfectly normal, nothing crazy about it at all.. plenty of March's have spells like this at some point. It's still been cloudier than average so it's been a pretty non event month. Two weeks from now we recorded a tad shy of 30C in the past, it would only be crazy if we were getting 25C+ temperatures now.
If it were 10F below average you would be saying it was crazy.

10F below average for today would equate to about 7-8c. 1 day of 7 or 8c in March is not crazy, seeing as the coldest March day is usually around 6-7c.
Strangely about 1°C warmer at Orly airport than in Paris-Montsouris at midnight.
