Actual temps in Europe. Here in Altea we have 16.4°C now. All of the windows are opened and outside smells just to flowers.

It can get chilly in October but usually not until the end of the month.

Average number of days below 50F/10C: 3 most was 12 days in 2002

Average number of days of 68F/20C+: 11
Most is 18 in 2000, least is 2 in 2009

Average number of 75F/24C days is 5
Most is 12 in 1989

It's also reasonably sunny for mid autumn with 193.2 hours

19C at 20:50 in London, just coming back from the pub and it feels quite balmy! Lovely late March day

Maximum and minimum temperatures today in Europe:

Well above average in much of Iberia although above average in almost all of Iberia. Well above average in most of central, southern, western and eastern Europe plus the UK, also well above in most of Italy, Malta, much of Greece and much of Cyprus (although all of Cyprus was above). Heavily above average in parts of Italy, much of UK, Germany, Belgium and much of France, with a temperature above the August average in Dax (28°C) and a early summer temp in central Italy with 27°C. Much of the UK, France, Belgium and northern Germany had June temps today.

Heathrow had a typical June day today, with 21.7c/11.5c! It was the warmest March day since 2012.

10F below average for today would equate to about 7-8c. 1 day of 7 or 8c in March is not crazy, seeing as the coldest March day is usually around 6-7c.

Strangely about 1°C warmer at Orly airport than in Paris-Montsouris at midnight.
