Really fascinated by Europe getting budding before northeastern US even while UK is more than 10 latitude degrees north of Somerset, NJ
I live in Norwich (100miles NE of London) during most of the year now and it is not quite as green as down here, but there was a notable difference.
Normally, trees down here are mostly fully leaved in mid April, I don't think the rest of the country is quite as quick though.
It isn't too surprising for me, as our winters are a lot more mild, we have not had any lying snow for over a year now! The majority of winter days were 8-11C and since the end of February we have had a nice warm start to Spring with temperatures reaching 20C a few times and being mostly above 14C. Hopefully this weather stays throughout summer!
Here in Northern Germany many trees are already in full bloom and have leaves.
Nature seems to be about 2 or 3 weeks ahead here, last year when we had a very cold March, the trees started to bloom as late as early May.
