I'm sweating just imagining the humidity over there!
It's absolutely an nightmare today. Most people I'm coming across outside or seeing posts on twitter are complaining. You can't move or do anything. Very Supressive, Oppressive, and Depressive.

Here's an image you don't see everyday. Latest HRRR Model 10m Sustained Winds for U.S. Hour3 Matches great with Arthur's location. Yellow and Orange are constant Tropical Storm force winds (over35kts)

The one yesterday caused a drop from 86°F to 71°F. Cooled to the dew point, stayed at that for the rest of the day and night. The last one was small, maybe called a "pop up storm", so a small drop. Another band will arive at night or late evening.

Yesterday, I sweated a little sitting still.

Yeah, it's annoying that the weather is making it hard to get some exercise outside by bike riding. It was even easier back in January when it was 9F/-13C... I put on a ton of layers and I was mostly fine, except I could have used better gloves. This, on the other hand, is harder to deal with. I'm stubborn, though, and I'll do it anyway... I'll just be thinking of that cool shower when I get back, I guess.

Just saw snj90's post in the temperature thread. A 26°C dew point is serious business.

Incidentally that's the air temp in my room right now (highest this year so far I believe). Obviously the humidity is far from 100%.

It actually didn't feel as bad as yesterday when I went out bike riding. Though, to be fair, the dew point had dropped from 26C to 25C by then. It was cloudy, and not being in the sun helped. And it was 90F/32C instead of 93F/34C. Yesterday I was out on my bike in the sun when it was 93F and the dew point 78F/26C and it was just a bit beyond my physical tolerance level.

Really nasty looking storm clouds moving in now... suddenly got so dark.

I'm surprised at the amount of people that think these thunderstorms are related to Hurricane Arthur.

Not Arthur related, but winds here are still of tropical storm force strengths.
