Does Penticton ever get a lake breeze cooling effect?

Not really. Penticton is usually hotter than Kelowna, a city that gets more of a lake breeze.
It was a little breezy today though so maybe it was a cooling effect from the lakes.
Osoyoos is also on the shores of a lake as well.

PIT's record low max tomorrow is 69F from 1981. Outside chance of being matched. Still no 90F at either PIT or AGC, but downtown has likely seen it twice or more given this riverside station has reached 90F *four* times.

Interesting to see.. High pressure overhead? Gonna be interesting to see where the cold front stalls tomorrow.

Edit: Looks like it stalled over the gulf states right now so gradient tomorrow should be fun
Forecast is calling for more of the same tomorrow. From the local NWS office " WESTERLY FLOW WILL CONTINUE
AND IT WILL BE ANOTHER HOT DAY WITH TEMPERATURES IN THE LOW TO MID
90S FOR THE EAST COAST METRO AREAS. HEAT INDICES ARE FORECAST TO
BE AROUND 100-110 DEGREES AGAIN TUESDAY." I honestly don't know what i'm going to do to stay cool tomorrow. Given that the NWS has underestimated the heat for the past 2 days I'm going to say that tomorrow will be the hottest day of our heat wave with a high of around 97 at MIA and 98 in kendall with heat index of around 110. I had the A/C running non stop today having it try and keep up with the heat but at 2pm it was 82f inside my house!!

Southern Croatian islands have had a severe storm yesterday morning (with precipitation rates approaching 225 mm/hr), and this video shows a waterspout coming from the sea and making a landfall. It was taken at about 11:00 am, and notice how dark it got in the end.

This summer has so far been extremely wet for the coastal part of Croatia, with some places having more than 700% of the monthly precipitation.

With an average temp of 75.5° in Bridgeport, CT it puts them at 18th warmest July on record with 3 days left. 7 of the last 9 Julys in Top 20

Meanwhile Chicago's average so far(as of 28th) is 70.4° which is 13th coldest July since 1872!

Fort Wayne Indiana at 48° 7am. Same Latitude as Greenwich, CT. Last time I was in the 40s was June 1st & 2nd

National Weather Service

Record low for the date is 47° in 1904. Lets see if it dropped another 2

That would make 2 dips in the 40s this month there in Fort Wayne which hasn't happened since 2002. Before that was July 1984. 40s not common

Current Surface Map and Temps. Look how far the cold front is going... Almost into the Gulf. Off the East Coast finally. (will help tame and cool water temps as well)
