84°F to 76°F in 10 minutes still falling. Danbury in the 60s so that's where I might get into. 20 degrees within 30 minutes most likely.
We had similar torrential rain on monday, areas of Burlington had 2 months worth of rain in 2 hours
Over 1000 home basements flooded, our main highway, the QEW (8 lanes) was closed due to flooding.
Driving on the road was like going through a car wash, my car got nice and clean

We had our low around 10:30 in the morning, when the lamest thunderstorm ever shared it's miserable presence. It got quite heavy at times according to blitzortung, but was too far away from us.

A low of 0.9C in Scotland is spectacular! It's August!
