Met office going for 4c.
It's possible in England - lowest temp in June was −5.6C, which is the same as Dalwhinnie in Scotland.

No its not.

England has a tone of cities with warmer sea temps. I have reached 0c here in the summer before and it was recent.

People on forums are shocked when it reaches 9c there.

I'll keep an eye on it tonight.
There were some interesting lows tonight across western Europe:

Portugal reached 2.2ºC in Carrazeda de Ansiães at 600meters of altitude, and Mira a location right on coast had a minimum of 5.1ºC
Spain -0.8ºC at 935 meters in Sanabria
Southern France 1.3ºC at 581 meters in Rodez.
Reims, at 95 meters of altitude, in Northeast France had a low of 2.1ºC
1.7ºC in CLaremorris, Ireland at 69meters of altitude

Well, it is, because it has happened on numerous occasions - I just told you that. The coldest was -5.6C in Norfolk, over 100 miles south of you and closer to continental Europe.

Yes. Actually today it's the 5-year anniversary of the coldest June day since WWII. The high here was 8.8C and the low 3.8C. Helsinki reached 8.0C and Tampere 7.6C.

On 7 June 2009 we had a freeze, with a low of -1.2C
