SouthEast Map for Max temps this year so far
It looks like the South Atlantic coast got a little hotter than the lower Mississippi Valley/ Gulf coast for the most part.

Thanks for uploading the maps! The minimum temp map for the Caribean seems all over the place. What's with this 35°F low in Dominican Republic? Also seems like Jamaica got very hot.

Can you do British Columbia or western Canada? While you're at it, how about Alaska? They didn't get much in the way of warm weather up there this year.

Those low temps in the Dominican Republic and Antigua are total *******s. And the 202 F in Kingston doesn't look too believable either.

lol, you guys are funny. It's called error. These maps are generated once and do not get fixed after their plotted even when quality control fixes the station data error. Im thinking an erroneous spike occurred. If anyone has access to the station go through the official source to check the fix.

That was me . If it's going to be that hot it might as well reach 100F and be done with it. The equivalent would be dozens of nights in winter that were 1F or 2F - I'm sure some heat lovers would rather it just go down to 0F or -1F rather than teasing them like that.
