"It was a chilly morning across the Midwest. Temperatures bottomed out in the 40s across the area! "

And I see 30s too! About 10-20 below normal for Mid June

Earlier in the week today's forecast high was 80F. Now the forecast is down to 73F. Sunny and 72F right now. I see it warming up a bit beyond 73.

Check out what NWS NY says for today below.

Current Satellite Looks like the Hudson Valley is making some clouds. lol NWS Says cold front is slower moving and might have to lower the highs for today. It was sunny here but now clouds moved in. (look to left of the B in Bridgeport)

Nice sunny ride on I-84 though.

Northeast U.S. Imagery (GOES-EAST) - Satellite Products and Services Division - Office of Satellite and Product Operations

Crap. NWS Increasing Cloud Cover today and most likely lowering the temps too.

http://www.erh.noaa.gov/bgm/products/text.shtml

THE COLD FRONT HAS MOVED TO THE S/E OF THE CWA AS OF 13Z. CLEARING
BEHIND THE FRONT IS OCCURRING A BIT SLOWER THAN EXPECTED. ALSO SEE
IN VISIBLE AND IR SATELLITE CLOUDS MOVING IN FROM THE NW
ASSOCIATED WITH APPROACHING 700-500 HPA SHORTWAVE - SO HAVE
INCREASED CLOUD COVER FOR TODAY.

MADE MINOR ADJUSTMENTS TO HOURLY TEMPERATURES/DEWPOINTS BASED ON
LATEST TRENDS IN GUIDANCE. WITH SOME UNCERTAINTY ON SKY
COVER...DID NOT ADJUST HIGHS FOR TODAY...HOWEVER WOULD NOT BE
SURPRISED IF ENDED UP LOWERING HIGHS WITH NEXT UPDATE.

Most of that area has already warmed up quite a bit this morning. I don't care who you are or what you say, there is no denying the power of the June sun! Speaking of sun, it should be back for you in a few hours which will rise temps quite a bit. Tomorrow starts 80+ days! Why aren't you in the swimming pool Cambium!!!!!

MVNT?

If 40's were recorded, 40's were recorded. Simple as that.

Everything only gets worse with every model. Unbelievable.

Afternoon temps:

The highs are supposed to be around 10-11C on the afternoon in many parts of W and S Finland. The average high on the date is 19-20C, so around 53% of the normal.
That would equal a 13-14C high in NYC Central Park on 17 June. Do you see that happening?

And look at that super-cool in Russia! Only some 50 miles east of St Petersburg well below 10C!

Excuse but wtf are you moaning about? You had 30c already and even London hasn't reached 30c.

You are much further north than us at 60N what the hell do you expect? 35c everyday!! We have had low cloud for about 6 weeks now so it is our turn.
