We just had a "real" thunderstorm last night! It's too bad it was at 1:30am on a Monday rather than during the weekend, but it was still nice to see.

He hates heat... I've met a number of Indian heat haters. And many of those who've lived in England for decades complain about American hot summer weather.

Just because your native weather is hot it doesn't mean you have to like it...

Yeah i'm sure those poor African people in Dallol absolutely love year round 40C temperatures with 30C lows.. they must absolutely love it...

What a crazy thing to say.

I've known quite a few people from the UK who despise their "native" weather. And let's not forget this chap (points to self) has no love of southern summers, which is pretty much our "native" season down here. If circumstances were to permit it, I'd be setting down roots up in the Keweenaw Peninsula of upper Michigan already...lol.

It is the unofficial first day of summer here in Kentucky. Went out in the yard for something, 84F at 11am with the dew point in the upper 60s. It hasn't felt like this before today. Why do these conditions that are not physically comfortable put me in a happy mood?
