Just checked the monthly averages so far, the east-west contrast is bigger than normal. The average high is 72°F in Paris compared to 82°F in Strasbourg, 250 odd miles to the east.
Went to fill up Propane tank for BBQ. 2 coworkers talking with each other. She was complaining about the heat saying she hates it.
He laughs and said "but you were complaining about the cold couple weeks ago"
She said yeah but I hate this heat, hard to work in.
He laughed and said "arent you from India?"
I laughed too but then at the same time the guy and I said this heat is different here, it's more humid.... Looking at my map, India seems humid... so was that not true that India's heat is drier in nature then here?
Now it's official. First time this year. Whats nice is I didn't need to use that icon as early as previous years. lol
Unenjoyable out there and even nei can agree. Maybe even TomF?? lol
No I don't like it, especially dry west winds, but the low humidity makes it feel a lot less oppressive. Be a lot nicer the next 7 days with no 90F temps forecast and north winds. I like that.
In fact, the current GFS ensemble runs have 16 days of normal temps (maybe slightly above) for us. I'm thinking the winds will not be out of the SW.
