Pola lies exactly in front of my hometown, across the Adriatic Sea (it isn't visible from here though ). The distance is about 140 km from here. It was an italian city from 1918 until 1945 and its italian name isn't censored.

The climate is almost identical to mine, just rainier. It's pleasant. I'll rate it B+.

It's pretty comfortable, but not as exciting nor as wet as the nearby Rijeka. B

Anyway, I give it a D. Lame winters. Summers are too hot, but not terrible. Mediterranean climates are too boring for me.
