Same here. Can't people turn down the heat? Or, as William Brantley would say:

LOL @ William Brantley. I seriously doubt he'll even see that comment. Almost seems like that's a robot posting sometimes. lol That's all he does. Even in the Accuweather Forum that's all he posts. I sent him a message once saying how cool that is and how I give credit to him for consistently doing that all these years. Must be so nice to simply look back at your backyards history by just scrolling through the posts.

Anyway ....

My indoor temp this month... Can you tell when I didn't have the wood stove on overnight and the cold outside caught me by surprise? Pretty much past few days.

I'm only comfortable in the 65-75 °F (18.3-23.9 °C) range.

It's not that bad there. I was in south Germany last summer, all summer and only a few times did I think it was too hot inside. Never had trouble sleeping due to heat, since I could leave window open all night.

Here it is more humid in summer, and unsafe to leave window open unfortunately.

Yeah but I live in an attic storey apartment which is a heat trap even on moderate warm days. And open windows don't help too much because the next house is just a few metres away, so barely any air circulation.

The scenic view from my room:

It's been open.

I got the temp to drop down to 21C, but then the sun rose and it's gone back up to 24C.
