Those of you who want to become a trained spotter for the National Weather Service, each office holds these classes once a year, sometimes more, for their coverage locations.

Even if you don't want to get your certificate its good to listen, learn and see how to report weather.

Here's NWS Boston schedule. I'll see if I can get a full list soon

NWS Las Vegas/CA Schedule. I don't think all offices will be on one link somewhere. You have to check your local offices.

I would just contact your nearest NWS office and ask when the classes are. I recommend you all to take them. (this is for the U.S but I'm sure worldwide has similar).

Typically once a year but some Offices do it couple times a year..

If anyone is in the NY area, go take a free training class and get your NWS Spotter Certificate.

I'm interested in attending one of these. I wonder if they do these in Upton (NWS NYC location), I live fairly close by.
