Being at 45 °N and on the eastern side of the large Eurasiatic continent, Harbin seasons are very pronounced.

Do you like it?

A-. Reliable snow cover in winter (even if it doesn't amount to much, I'd rather have it to < 150 cm of snow and frequent thawing such as in Pittsburgh and Boston) and perfect normal summer temperatures for a continental climate. Could use a bit more summer rain and coal-fired heating in winter takes a toll on sunshine.

Way too cold in the winter and way too rainy in the summer. Not closely related to climate but Harbin winters aggravate an air quality problem that is said to be even worse than Beijing's.

D for me. Far too cold, but summers make up for it somewhat.
