So if you have any high lying dolines in England or Scotland even a low of below -30°C could be very likely.
For comparison: The lowest temperature in a populated place in Germany was -37.8°C in Hüll, Bavaria on the 12th February 1929- the winter 1928/1929 was a very cold winter were several older record lows date from.

its the same for Italy. They usually take the -45 C in alps where nobody lives.
Yeap Scotland and north east England have some places where it can go the distance.
