Then shouldn't your place be under the warmest heading?
I'm only using NIWA stations with live feed temperatures for warmest and coldest.
The NIWA station for Motueka only releases data in monthly summaries, and weather underground is dubious (28C here today apparently) So I use the shade temperature at my place.
Coldest: Ashburton at 6C and 95% RH
Warmest: Tauranga at 18C and 71% RH
Motueka: 16C and 82% RH with Scattered cloud and passing showers.
