I'm doing field work in the central Idaho mountains this week. We had a sunny morning, then the clouds moved in around 10:00 and we worked in light snow the rest of the day. The overnight low is expected to be 28F / -2C.

19C /66F Less humid today, forecast high 27C with early afternoon T-storms.

Yesterday was very humid, first day over 30C with severe T-storms,
currently 25,000 still without power.

Four golfers just north of Toronto are in hospital after being hit by lightning

A tornado ripped through a subdivision in Angus, ON....damaging 30 homes.
Ontario gets the odd tornado, thankfully nothing like tornado alley in the US.
