8:30 AM, about 47F, calm, mostly cloudy. Saturday was stormy and rainy all day which was amazing, and yesterday was mostly sunny with huge white puffy clouds, pleasant breezes, and warmish temperatures, which was also amazing. Today should be mostly sunny with temperatures in the low 60sF and breezes. More rain is expected by Halloween
Speaking of rain, since July 1st (the start of the water year), 7.09" of rain has fallen in Eureka. Seasonal aversge is 2.73" so we're currently twice the normal
near-record breaking warmth is forecasted for tomorrow. highs of 17C are forecasted. to put it into perspective, the swedish all-time high for november is 18.4C.

Mild weather at this time of year can be irritating, because you see the gloom outside along with that near-constant "maybe about to rain" look and the bare or nearly bare branches on the trees being blown about in the wind and you think it "looks cold" and dress accordingly, and then you end up either having to either carry your jacket everywhere or get covered in sweat. Also, I've noticed some bushes and flowers in bud again because they think it's spring.
