See how long this showery and windy weather has been going on here:

Weather reports from Bingley NO 2 WMO (3344)

I'm surprised so many hours have recorded 0.0 mm of rain, because that's not been my observations! The winds have been nothing compared to the regular 100 km/h+ we had last year, but it's been the windiest day of the winter so far.

It's all over the place. From Iceland to Western Norway down to Denmark to the west coast of Finland. Looks like Birmingham is the dividing line. Sweden recorded 119 km/h gusts, haven't heard from the Norwegians yet.

But miraculously, only around a 1000 homes have lost their power today here in Finland.

This low gave up to 90 km /h sustained wind and 110 km /h gusts along the SW and S coast of Norway. Nothing very special about that. The unusual feature was the course of the low which gave strong S wind up the Oslo fjord. Strong wind speeds are actually uncommon in Oslo. No storm in my city.

3.2˚C (Voll) and 3.5˚C at TRD
RH: 52 %
Overcast, light breeze. A little rain early in the day.

Further south along the coast, Kråkenes lighthouse recorded at 01:00 last night gusts of 158 km /h.
Bergen gusts up to 86 km /h.

Karasjok first place with -30˚C: Last night down to -30.5˚C. However, at 14:00 today: -0.7˚C in Karasjok - a pretty steep temperature rise

Still not a minute of air frost in Bergen so far this autumn/winter. That goes for many weather stations along the coast. There is even a weather station inside the Arctic Circle which has not seen a minute of air frost this autumn and winter: Myken (66.45 N, station nr 80610, Wmo nr: 01115) Weather statistics for Myken, Rødøy (Nordland) Last overnight frost there was in March.

2:00 PM, about 60F, gusty winds and heavy rain

They're calling this the worst storm in 40 years and even went so far to dub it "rainageddon"

It's amazing and I love it. Should be like this through Friday
