Ha. Didn't even think of that. Think I noticed theunbrainwashed do a few typos like that, but he posted a voice recording of his accent somewhere and didn't like it had a noticeable hispanic influence to it.
I hate my husband's work schedule, and so does he. He's supposed to be retired and work 20 hours a week, but instead he's working 30 and getting up at 4:30 am. He is trying to change locations to avoid drive time, or else negotiate better hours where he is.
He doesn't want to quit, because he likes keeping busy.

Haha. Yeah, my accent isn't that pronounced but it comes out a lot on certain words. Usually other Hispanic people don't notice it, but Americans do lol

I wonder if it's so common in South Florida, that non-hispanics wouldn't notice? I wonder if the hispanic influence is so strong there some non-hispanics have a bit of that?

Definitely. There's a "Miami Accent" that definitely has some Latin influence to it (mostly a Cuban influence). There are whites that have that accent too, I used to think they were just trying to fit in or be cool but it's there. Here are some examples of it:
This is how a lot of guys sound here (don't mind the colorful language lol):
I can't find a good female video, but it's pretty much the same but sounds more nasal.
This accent becomes less pronounced in Broward County (Ft. Lauderdale area) but it's still there.
African-Americans tend to have a southern influence in their speech down here. Some Whites do too, but it's mostly confined to the Davie area (in Broward County).
