I'm certainly not complaining about the weather here. It's been about as perfect as it can possibly be. Tons of sun and so nice and cool - maxing out about 20, 21 C the past few days. I love it I love it I love it!

You're gonna hear some major whining when I get back...lol

Model output thread on netweather's been dead for hours and hours. Sums it up - people are bored sick of this repeat garbage weather which isn't changing.

Lol, that's about the same as us for the last few days. Slightly below average May weather for us, sometimes I forget how far apart weather-wise we are from each other.

It was 3.8°C at 10pm and I thought we were in for a frost - now it's jumped back up to 6.8°C

Why's it done that? There is no cloud cover, wind, fog etc. It should be dropping. And this isn't the first occurence, it has done this many times before. No wonder it's so hard to break low temperature records, someone must be shoving a blow dryer into the thermometer

The only time I've ever visited the shore on Memorial Day weekend and enjoyed it was once when I was a teenager and my aunt & uncle owned a pontoon boat there and invited us down. Otherwise, I don't see the appeal. I don't enjoy just sitting on the beach when it's hot and sunny.
That's pretty much all I do since I don't really like swimming. But aren't there a lot of other attractions at the beach in NJ?

Yes. The boardwalk, amusement parks, water parks, golf, fishing, boating, food, booze (unless you're in Ocean City, NJ), and just enjoying the feeling of being down the shore, to name a few. But overall, I don't find it worthwhile if I can't swim in the ocean. There's little shade, so you're in the sun all day. You can sit on the beach (with a beach umbrella), but I get tired of that pretty quickly.

Tomorrow would have been the day to go down there. It's all backroads and two-lane state roads (with the exception of Route 55) from here to the Shore, but, especially on Memorial Day weekend, it's insane how jammed some of those backroads get. Majority of vehicles have Pennsylvania plates, so you know where they're from and where they're going. Friday/Saturday is awful going down the shore. Monday will be awful going back. Sunday would be the best day. But I'm just not interested. I can't wait to go, actually, but I'll pick a better time when the ocean is a bit warmer.

Today's a lovely day. High only around 20 C. I'll go to the racetrack instead.

I haven't been to the shore in a while. Hoping to go at least once this year. I don't like swimming in the ocean, I just put my feet in briefly.
