Ebonics has distinct grammar rules that differ from standard English. It's not just lazy/incorrect speech; like all languages, it follows certain grammar rules. In many ways, it's like a creole version of English. If a nonnative speaker of Ebonics tries to emulate it, it's common for them to make syntax errors.
That's an exaggeration. Ebonics has some Southern influences, but it's completely different in almost every other way.
There's a spectrum of black accents, from the milder ones (many of which have some commonalities with southern accents) to ebonics, which is non-standard but as you said has its own grammar.
Maybe WV, but south of that not really. The vegetation looks too northern, IMO. Especially the fact that most of your April was bare, you won't see that anywhere in southern Appalachia. Maybe in high elevations..
I've thought West Virginia are two similar states. Both inland small mountain states not that far from the east coast. Both have deep river valleys and no real big cities. But culturally and historically very different.
