Have any of you guys ever tried peach brandy? Man, that stuff is gewd...lol. 30% alcohol by volume, it's sweet enough to be drunk over the rocks. Boy, that goes down nice and smooth...lol. Only $9 a bottle too.
I have not. Matter of fact, I don't believe I've ever had brandy.
Bet thing I had recently was some Guinness with Bailey's, ice cream, and whipped cream, or something like that. It was at Red Robin. That was delicious.
To your point if you wish to drink for the sake of drinking why not just drink vodka or some other strong spirit/liquor. To me strong (35%ABV+) alcohols taste, if anything better than beer which defeats the purpose of the consumption of beer in the first place.
I'm the reverse; I like both beer and wine, but dislike the taste of hard liquor. Even liquor diluted in a mixed drink to the strength of wine or weaker still tastes unpleasant to me. Drinkable, but not something I enjoy.
Guys, oil is leaking from my car because the seal has expanded during this heatwave. Does anyone here have any experience on fixing vehicle fluid leaks ? How long does it take for a newbie.

Some wines can be very good...I just can't do beer.
On the rare occasions I drink, I prefer to drink beer. I am beginning to acquire a taste for wine though. Still prefer beer, but I'm willing to sip on red wine.
A few bad experiences have push me away from hard liquor. Over Easter weekend I had a wicked hangover. Drank like an amateur and paid the price.

I started liking wine before I started liking beer. I like red wine the most. I tend to like dry white wine. I don't really care much for sweet white wine.

White wine is a little too 'lite' IMO, if that makes any sense. I like the richness of red wine. Better aftertaste.
Not crazy sweeter tasting wines though Spanish red wine is a little sweet, but not bad.
