I can do that. Thankfully I'm in a safe area. Some parts of Atlanta scared the heck out of me. West End, DONT GO THERE.

Just keep in mind that there are going to be a lot of people around you who won't be getting 400 quid a month, and it would serve you well to keep quiet about how much you're getting and so forth.
I know i'm fortunate but i'm not rich. And yes I will not tell anyone about that but I will feel guilty and help them buy stuff which is not good!!

But alot of folk in my class go on like they're in poverty and tbh I don't think they'd be in poverty if they didn't drink as much.

Basically all ATMs here are free for cash withdrawals whatever bank you use

And Owen, £100/week is extortionate, I cannot believe your parents are being so generous to you.. they should really give you less and make you work for your money as most other people do, or you will never learn to manage money.

I saw that on another forum - I think it's okay. I think London could do with a few normal skyscrapers instead of crazy ones like the Walkie Talkie.

Dunno what the deal is - are any of those buildings photoshopped? (Sorry, I'm that familiar with the London skyline...lol.)

400 pounds is like $650 or so, thats too little for me. It takes me atleast $1000 to live comfortably inclusive of rent.

No, seeing as you will be in the same city that I study in, I know the area and the standard of living here is pretty cheap. If you spend £40/week on food which is very generous, I cannot see why you would need an extra £60 if you don't drink/go out etc.. that is a luxurious student budget.. just saying! Pretty much all of my friends are in their overdrafts.

My overdraft limit is £1500, I've been negative for a while now, but when I finish uni I have 3 years to pay it off before I start paying interest on the overdraft, which should be pretty easy.
