I find there are a lot of misconceptions about people with Asperger's and socializing. For me, it's not that I don't want to do it per se. It's just that I find it difficult and I have very few things to say about various topics that naturally come up in conversations, most of which are of no particular interest to me. While I am an introvert, this is ultimately distinct from having Asperger's (in fact, it's even possible for people with Asperger's to be extroverts, though introverts are probably more common). Being an introvert pretty much just means I need to be alone at least some of the time. I need to recharge from social interaction; it does not energize me, but tends to wear me down. However, that doesn't mean I want zero social interaction. I also used to struggle with shyness (yet another thing that distinct from both introversion and Asperger's, but is often associated with both), but this isn't as big an issue as it used to be for me. Nowadays I don't care nearly as much... if I need to approach someone for something, I don't care enough about their potential negative reaction or their potential disapproval or whatever the case may be to let it bother me that much.
What does Yn0hsdJgasadj have? I think me, Ariete, and irlinit are the outliers on here. Well, actually, PERFFFFFF dude is definitely WAAAAY out there anybody who complains about him (ahem other Melbournian!) has something wrong with them. I mean, come on, those super epic burgers and chicken wings....
I've noticed posters with Asperger's "overcorrect" for their inability to detect humor or sarcasm by overusing the sarcasm emoticon, even for things that aren't sarcastic. It's almost as if they are trying to prove that they understand it, even though they don't.
My cousin's nephew in law (3rd nephew) is older than me!!!
Another name change?
'divisionbyzero' was the best one out of all three. Just saying...
