Has it felt very cloudy in general? Having a good 6-8 hours of cloud cover daily is more important for giving me the "summery" feeling than what is the specific amount of rainfall received, which is why I find South Florida summers to be deceivingly underwhelming.

That makes sense we're just now getting into the peak of the wet season. As long as it's cloudy in the late afternoon and evening...for some reason clear/sunny evenings in the summer are so annoying to me.

Seen ******* in the Chanel store coming out with $2,000 bags.. And they were about 13.

This makes me very angry because its not them buying it! My parents take me on holidays but I would have to buy stuff myself!

I'd prefer traveling the world over meaningless overpriced fashion products any day. I'm having to spend my own money going to Florida just to see my relatives because my parents won't even drive down from within the US, you are really quite lucky.

Idk if I was a millionaire I still don't think i'd spend that money on a stupid bag... I'd feel guilty.

It just makes me so angry because there are poor people who have families struggling to make money and these ******* who have not worked a day in their going into Prada and Chanel and getting these bags at the thousands. Cows.

I appreciate my holidays and really enjoy them.. But its so hard to go home.
I know i'm lucky to get to America but things like that make me feel poor.

Reverse culture shock when you get home. I've had it a few times and it is worse than when you arrive somewhere IMO.

I've been on trips where people from other countries were travelling in the same group as me for two weeks. It's very hard to say goodbye after you developed friendships and spent pretty much the entire trip together with some people. Especially knowing the fact that you may not see these people again for a long time. When you get home it's hard to go back to normal life. After one trip in particular it took me two weeks to fully adjust to being back home, especially since I was arriving in January coming from a hot African country.

Yeah I hate it. It was like that coming back from America the last time, kind of felt like a foreign country in another demension.

Its hard to describe but it was weird... People wish they had long holidays but don't realise that coming down to reality is very VERY hard - especially when you go shopping etc everyday to do none.

I think its gonna take me a long time getting used to waking up in the northern irish countryside with drizzle and not a sunny golf resort.

I'm having such rubbish nights sleeping. My house is just far too warm.
I keep waking up all clammy. I guess its a fair price to pay for the good weather.
