I said to him earlier that combining eating habits with terrible weather is the way to go, and there's endless opportunities. Overcast drizzle pork chops sounds great.

So then you go. End of story. Ignore your mum, sister or whoever is causing irritation (it were them was it not?), but it's not a reason of not showing up. It's not your cousin's fault, and you should pay your respects, despite it might include some bickering and being uncomfortable.

Hell no. We are an honest people. You don't say support or compliments if you don't mean it. Of course this doesn't mean that I would want to see MeteoMan dying either!

Nah, I see my mum and sister all the time. Mostly other cousins, aunts, uncles that I don't like for multiple reasons, but I'm still going to go. Free booze as well, so why not?

Ah yes, it was your aunt who was a biaatch. It was P London's mother that was a pain in the ass. Dean york's dad was a druggie and MeteoMan's dad was in jail. Yeah, a lot of broken families here. And I'm not saying that my family relations are the best either, the relations with my dad are quite cold, to say the least. But enough of this topic.
And despite maybe sounding a bit conservative, family and friends are everything there is, so you sometimes just have to do things you might not enjoy.
