We have had a few 'mini' ones this month, but August has been terrible.. thunderstorm at 20C isn't really great at all

I will take a thunderstorm at any temperature. Beggars can't be choosers. Besides, even if it's 26C before a thunderstorm, it will always cool down below 20C eventually - the temperature will begin to fall before the storm has even arrived anyway. Kinda hard for temps to be above 20C here while it's raining, unless it's drizzly.

Not always cool to 20C, we had one a few weeks ago where the temp was 26C and it was pouring cats and dogs with thunder. Temp didn't drop to 20 but 23.5 with a tornado.

I'll quote the posts:

It is not too often that it rains that hard at a temperature of 27C. Like a tropical downpour.

Currently 2 minutes later, the SUN is out but it is still pouring. This is something like they get in Florida.

Only when there is a thunderstorm approaching Otherwise dew points above 20C are not that great to me.. they are fine from time to time, but I prefer dew points of 15C-18C with an air temperature just above 25C and sunny.. perfect day for me
