Sure you can. But it has to be dried first, then put in water, and then in the "lut" (salt-water liquid) for a few days. It takes like two weeks to prepare. But if you hurry, you might still make it. Dry it out and put it out to hang.

Now when I thought about it, the acidity of the fish must be base, otherwise it will be ruined.

Lutefisk isn't really that good, it's damn gummy, it tastes nothing but béchamel, butter and black pepper. You might eat it at Christmas once a year, but not otherwise. The Norwegians put bacon on it to make it taste better. And the fish in the lut smells fu**ing hideous, it's not something you want to do in your flat. For that reason nobody really does it anymore, but buys it prepared.

I can't really understand it, I mean I get that its trying to work out how fast a line changes but thats all.
Maybe this question might make it more interesting? How fast does daylength decrease when going north today? It decreases faster the further north you go. Find an expression for that, or more specifically the change in daylength per a small change in latitude for a given time of year (or rather, declination of the sun).

Bacalhau is more or less the Portuguese national dish. Or is Saltfish different?

Kids these days are polluted with crap and there is no more Saturday Morning Bugs Bunny, Road Runner, Tom n Jerry, the Flinstones, the Jetsons etc which is really sad.
To be honest kids here tend to like teenage/adult show and songs. Preschool kid singing love songs, unlike the 90s when kid's songs is real kidsongs. To this days, kidsongs only heard in some kid's playing arena. Also here also exist kids boybands that sings LOVE songs, and a 4 year kid can become a fan of it!!!

I remember it was early this year when riding a public minibus, a 3 year old boy singing an adult love song and his parents were "proud" of it

I just lost a very good friend of mine for saying something utterly stupid in the name of religion, and though there is a lot of interesting weather phenomenon, I might not be coming back to post till I get over the break up moment .
