Wasn't he doing a course there or something? Perhaps he went to do an assessment or something and is going to move back there again.

It's called think before you post, Owen. If you don't want people to know the town you actually live in, don't post something along the lines of "it annoys me when people are vague about their location", because, that is exactly what you are doing. I would take back what you said and stop being annoyed by such things when you engage in the same behaviors yourself
