Did I read that right? It sounds like you're happier with warmer weather.
It was nice for working outside, and the sun was just warm, not hot - the low sun angle really helps with that. Still looks and smells very much like fall.
I want the cold stuff to come when it matters, in late Dec and Jan / Feb, so we can capitalize on snow opportunities. Having cold now is a waste, so might as well as have a bit of Indian summer...lol.

We're getting some snow tomorrow, then followed a brief warm up with cold rain. Then back to cold. Such is much of our winter. If I had a choice and had to have a winter, I'd prefer consistently mild (50s in the afternoon) till sometime in December then consistently near freezing, with frequent snow and little rain. With a much quicker spring warm up, especially in frosts ending. So we don't have months of bare ground. See:
Just look at the monthly rainfall average and then you will see how July is almost as dry as the driest one, which is February. I mean July and August are way rainless than anything else, except the driest month, and such thing indicates there is a few Mediterranean influence.
Summer gets more rain than winter How do you spin a Mediterranean climate out of that?
It's profile is similar to climates in NZ, where there is little difference between summer/winter, and there are autumn/spring peaks. I wouldn't consider them as having a Med influence. My climate by contrast, has winter rainfall at double summer rainfall, which definitely shows more of a Mediterranean tendency.

Looks like the subtropical high pressure affects Grenoble area in July, so that's the way it is a rainless month when compared to most of the year.
There are some places in northeastern Spain that have the same rainfall pattern, and they still are Mediterranean.
