The more progressive sound is great, too.

I don't want to be like that guy from Melbourne, but my last few days have been utterly hopeless with regards to coursework. I'm able to get nowhere, and friends are unable to help .

Pesky darn mason wasps, dropping comatose spiders all over the place. One just dropped a spider on to a piece of toast i was about to bite into. Annoying droning sound as well -reminds me of a dentist's drill.

Not every thing about summer is great.

I listen to basically everything. Depends on my mood, and who I'm with. For example when I'm working out, I either listen to old Metallica, or "Dirty South" on Itunes Radio Don't ask me why, the beats help me lift heavier.

When I'm drinking with my teacher buddies (40's-50's years old) it's classic rock. At the club, I like house music.

Incidentally, Chicago is the birthplace of house music.

My favorite Chicago Dj when I was in high school... Now he is worldwide

I was at this

Here he is in 1989. I was there at this dj battle at the Riviera night club. Check out the prostitute he brings on stage at the end

Also I was big on Freestyle music from the late 80's early 90's which I know was also big in NYC

The same type of phenomenon in New England over in northeast of the US.

The valley and mountain terrains surrounding the town seems to kill off T-storms
while southern New England seems to keep getting T-storms.

So apparently, it's not so strange for Septembers to sometimes get less than 1 inch of rain!
It looks like this may have caused hibiscus blooms to be smaller than normal! (2014)

I didn't recall flowers strangely becoming smaller the year before. :/

Some loony at my school made threats to kill some other students and was arrested.
I doubt he would actually do what he said he was going to do. 30 years ago this never would've happened. Why can't we let kids be kids? Making threats to stab someone is just part of growing up.
Wish I knew who it was. There are lots of crazies I know so I won't a hard time putting a face on the "crime".

There is a vote today to allow the use of IVF with the DNA of three people. The zombie carpenter worshippers are trying to block it. Their opinion should be ignored, it's stupid how there are bishops that will be able to vote on the motion.
