^^ I don't mind religion as long as you keep it to yourself. I hate people who feel the need to constantly harp on about god this, and god that and blah blah blah and basically call you a heathen if you don't agree. My ex-GF and her family were like that a big reason she's an ex......
Yeah, when I stopped going to church by choice, my family gave me a bit of crap but they stopped eventually (I wasn't getting anything out of the church's message, and I was bored in there). Also extreme atheists are just as annoying. They do the opposite and never shut up about how god doesn't exist. You can't win eh
^^ I remember PLondon started a thread "what do you say when you bumped to certain C-D poster" back in Oct but it had been locked. Now that's discussed here. I'd like to meet posters here.

At least your family wised up.
My grandma is a very religious person, but she never tries to convert me or anything like that lol. I decided to stop attending church at the ripe age of 6, it's funny how even as a little kid I felt very uncomfortable and bored at church. Just never appealed to me in the least.
But yeah extreme atheists are annoying too. I'm agnostic but I find them just as annoying. I don't understand why people just can't keep their views to themselves when it comes to religion and politics.

The smallest voices are given the loudest microphones, with regards to extremism. I just wanna go in the middle of everything to balance it out. I guess people generally take free speech seriously and it's the reason why debates over religion and politics have existed for ages.
It's a drive of at least 2 hours. Although it would be cool to meet someone whose eyes don't glaze over when I talk about the weather.
I'll probably be up in Orlando a couple times before college starts, so I wouldn't be too far from there. I know I'll be there July 8-9. Though I might have trouble relating to your love of thunderstorms if I meet you.
I hate religious extremists in general. I don't care if they're Muslim, Christian or Buddhist. I hate people who think that everyone should think as they do.
I despise all the Abrahamic religions. All versions of the same disease. I've never heard of a Buddhist extremist. (I'm sure there are some, but I don't think they've been nearly as pernicious as extremists following Abrahamic religions.) There are plenty of Muslim terrorists, Christian extremists, and Jewish extremists/Zionists in the world, though.
There can be no aerobatic flying in Louisville tomorrow due to bridge construction (cranes) interfering with the show box. The Thunderbirds will use 2 planes instead of 6 and do whatever is allowed, and the jet from the Navy cancelled its performance altogether.
