Gay marriage is legal in NY & NJ. But down here, its a sin.
Personally, I have no problem with it. Personal choice of lifestyle is a freedom. But my roommates tell me to shut the eff up when I bring up the topic.
I didn't say anything, other than make a statement that gay marriage was legal in my home state but not here. They are like "shut up, the thought of gay couples creeps me out". I honestly don't understand why gay marriage isn't universal in land of the free. Do what makes you happy, without imposing on others.
Religion and law should always be 2 distinct things.
