Yeah, I agree with you for the hottest places in summer but don't forget places in the heart of the Algerian Desert such as Adrar and In Salah that get very hot in July and August.
However, it seems the hottest place in the Sahara Desert during the summetime is a remote desert village in Algeria called Bou Bernous, which seems to have an average high temperature of about 47 °C in July (I'm not really sure of the reliability). Here the PDF source, go to page 6 to see the graph of temperatures for that location : http://www.geo.uu.nl/tsrp/Ontbrekend...and%20cold.pdf
For your document, can you eventually make a screenshoot, please?
Here (it's listed by hottest to coolest average high temperature):
Note: Some of the places in Sudan, Mali and Chad are the 61-90 averages, and Dallol is 1960-66. Kuwait 1994-2008.
If I can find any other locations with official figures, I will add them on. There are places in Iraq I haven't added yet actually.

Good job
I think you made a mistake for Dallol : the average high is 45.1 °C in August. Are you sure of the averages highs for Faya-Largeau, Chad and Ghat, Libya?
Screenshoots :
Climate data for Faya-Largeau, Chad :
Climate data for Ghat, Libya :
Climate data for Aswan, Egypt :
And averages highs look suspect for Timimoun, Algeria and Abeche, Chad but this is a really good job

I actually remember copying Dallol's temperature data with no mistakes but now it seems that every month has changed by like 1 degree, I'll have to change it and the others too. I think the ones you mentioned I must of used the old averages, I'll check again

Yeah, I noticed many old climate charts have been recently modified
Does anyone know a place with an average high that is greater than 46.9C (116.4F) in any month?
I'm not sure if any place exists which is hotter than Furnace Creek in July.
The closest I could find is Kuwait City in July and August.
However, there are many places that have individual months (not necessarily representative of the average) where the average high for that particular month exceeds 46.9C.
For example, in July 2012 Basrah had an average high of 48C (119F): Weather History for Basrah, Iraq | Weather Underground. (there were a couple of erroneous measurements there, especially that 18C reading, but for the most part the highs appear to be accurate)

Great list
You are missing Djibouti (33.4°C average high)
