Also Miami has an average low of 26C July-September.

So much for continental climates...even DCA has only reached 10 days of 20C+ lows in May (2004) and only thrice in April.

DCA just missed the mark at 67F on the 10th; had the temps not cooled down before midnight on the 13th, with a morning low of 68F, we would have reached this milestone. Average 20C-low window is 26 May thru 26 Sept; it's about 2 weeks narrower on both ends at Dulles, which has on average less than half DCA's annual 20C min count, but that's changing rapidly.

Never. Here most of the hottest weather in August is 80-85, but even if it hits the 90s we cool to the mid-50s at night. One of the nice things about summer here, and why no one has air conditioning. We already had an odd 91F day a couple of weeks ago but it got down to 52 that night.

Now that is surprising.

Wow 52 is very cold! I think I'll need an AC (heater, that is). Here, no matter the temperature at day (80s, 90s) it'll always cool down to mid 70s at night.

In the summer, our low doesn't really drop below 79 degrees.

When the ocean temps are 87 degrees, it doesn't cool down at night.

On the flip side, 100 degrees has only happened one time.

It usually stays in the lower to mid 90s by day.

I wouldn't say "never," it's happened a couple times, the most recent being in 2009. But yeah, it is rare that we get lows higher than 65 degrees or so.
