I have reached 24.4ºC in early May, and dozens of 20ºC temperatures, but probably won't see 25ºC until June.

Some parts of the UK reached 25C today. We might have done, if it wasn't for all this cumulus, and now an easterly wind.

Not me. Average low in January is about 24ºC. The lowest temperature in 2013 was 23ºC. Every single day in 2014 has seen 25ºC, although on 2 or 3 days the high only reach 26 or 27. Lately the highs are often in the range of 32-34ºC.
