I feel for ya. I always chuckle when people in the uk used to faint at 30 C :-D...Pak/india summers are the worst kind with 50 C and those power outages , traffic jams and mosquitoes biting you all night.

Agni Nakshathram (Fire star) period in Tamil Nadu is always filled with power shortage issues .

Dog days ahead: Summer worsens power crisis in Tamil Nadu - The Times of India

Was living there. Now I live in CNJ around 40 miles west of NYC, where average temperatures in summer range from the mid 80's to low 60's with sunshine, pleasant winds, and plenty of thunderstorms . Only wish we go the entire year without hitting 90 F once . Winter here is absolutely fabulous with several weeks failing to rise above freezing.

Typical CNJ winter morning, 13 F (-10 C) and partially sunny :

Nice !

Only if we didnt have power shortage the summers here would be bearable. US is alot like Pak/india with variety of climates. Though for -10 i would have to go up 8-9k feet.
