At a guess..

Hottest: 29/30C
Coldest: -7/-8C

28C is pretty much reached every year - but 29-30C seems about right for a long-term average. The lowest absolute max on record was 26.5C in 1998.

From the Detroit Michigan Area we get -15 F degree to 105 F on the average , and there is not any extreme weather condition of Climate change which I have noticed as there has been dry times and wet times and thunder storms and short snow wind blizzards , small tornado's , but nothing that has never happened before over the years

1984 to 2013 averages:
Annual tmin to tmax; annual coldest tmax, annual warmest tmin
DCA (8a): 11.3F to 99.1F (−11.5C to 37.3C); 23.3F/−4.8C, 79.1F/26.1C.
IAD (7a): 2.1F to 98.1F (−16.6C to 36.7C); 21.8F/−5.7C, 74.8F/23.8C.
BWI (7b): 5.9F to 98.9F (−14.5C to 37.2C); 22.0F/−5.6C, 76.6F/24.8C. The 22F is a surprise...I thought it'd average lower than IAD.

PIT (6b): −2.4F to 93.1F (−19.1C to 33.9C); 12.8F/−10.7C, 72.7F/22.6C. The airport's record warm minimum is 77F/25C; surely downtown, with its UHI, lower elevation, and river valley location would exceed that.

2000 to 2014 average minima:
DCA (8a): 13.5F/−10.3C
IAD (7b): 5.6F/−14.7C
BWI (7b): 8.0F/−13.3C
PIT (6b/7a): −0.3F/−18.0C

It Portland generally it gets to about 100-101F at the height of summer once or twice and then the coldest temp in winter is just above or just below 20F. There's not really a huge variation in temperatures here in general - mostly 40s, 50s and 60s for the majority of the year.

I'm using 1993-2013 because those are the full years I've been alive so far. 2014 isn't over yet and I wasn't alive until spring 1992.

Lowest maximum: 93 F / 34 C (2004)
Highest minimum: 19 F / -7 C (2012)

So every year, we've reached 19-93 F / -7 to 34 C.

From 1971 - 2013 in my hometown Serres Greece the absolute maximum temperature was 45 C and the absolute minimum -18 C.
Generally in summer it reaches 40 C as the highest and -10 C as the lowest in winter.

In Ioannina Greece that I live as a student from 1956 - 2013 the absolute maximum temperature was 42 C and the absolute minimum was -14 C.
Generally in summer it reaches 38 C as the highest and -10 C as the lowest.
