Open to your interpretation; Where I live, September is usually warmer than June so I use astronomical summer. I guess this doesn't apply to the Southern Hemisphere as I'm referring to the upcoming 3-4 months.
For the SH summer, I predict Whakatane's new sunshine recorder will show that town to be the sunniest place in the world, and will actually exceed 100% of the possible total.
I'm also predicting a dry and warmer summer where I live, due to the possible El Nino.
