I have been constantly doing this since I signed up for Weather Bell and look at the model forecasts vs the NWS local forecast. Imo, the NWS local forecast is more accurate than the models once you are on to two days out.

Well, for my area weatheronline totally bombed, forecasting highs of 23°C for yesterday and today, and over 20°C most of the week. The reality has been several degrees cooler and the BBC has been exactly spot on.

BBC is always the mist accurate for me and some other site theweatheroutlook.
