Heres a climate battle that will satisfy fellow heat lovers like myself. The two climates have quite a few similarities. New Delhi vs Phoenix. Both climates have very similar temperature and rain patterns. Both climates have light rain in winter along with a monsoon season in summer. Delhi has a much stronger monsoon season with significantly more rain than phoenix. (32 in vs 8). During the monsoon season humidity goes up in both cities though delhi gets more. But phoenix however is prone to more extreme heat and has more months averaging 100+F (4 vs 2). Phoenix is also MUCH sunnier than delhi offering less relief during summer. WHile phoenix is the hotter of the two delhi still has a longer heat season due to the prolonged effect caused by the monsoon.

Both are awful, but at least Phoenix gets dry heat.

Phoenix. The number of moths with highs >33C and lows >21C is less (4 vs. 6).

I pick Phoenix because it's less polluted and air conditioning is everywhere, unlike Delhi.

They're both pretty gross, but... Phoenix it is. It has more months where the average high is under 90f.

Phoenix because the peak heat is "less" humid than Delhi's and their winters are more variable.

I pick Phoenix - it's a dry heat.. I'm not into humid climes. The only minuses for Phoenix is the haboobs. Just like Baghdad.
