Yesterday we went on a field trip to the Holocaust Museum. They behaved well, but they weren't overly enthusiastic to learn.
That's too bad. My high school history teacher asked me when I was in my early 20's to join her current class as a supervisor to Auschwitz, but too bad I was working and unable to go. It would've been a massive experience. The trip would've been free and I just would had pay for my upkeep.

At the end of the trip. We listened to a guest speaker who was a survivor of Auschwitz. He was Polish (non Jew) who was part of the underground. The man was 92 years old. Wow. What a story.

I'm surprised no one made gas chamber jokes. If I was there, I probably wouldn't be able to resist the urge.
