Just curious what is the legal age of driving in your country?

Depends on the state here. 17 in New York State (18 if you don't take a driver's education course or in New York City), but sometimes 16 year olds can drive with lots of restrictions. Some states are lower.

18 here. 16 years old can drive after a few lessons if accompanied with a registered adult [relative] who has a driving license.

18 and only 18. Few exceptions are possible, like you're an professional athlete and need a car, and you might be able to get a licence at 16 or 17. These permissions are handed out very rarely, not even every year.

Where I live you get a permit at 16 (drive with a fully licensed driver for a minimum of six months), provisional license at 17 (license with restrictions such as no driving after 11PM weeknights or midnight weekends and only one non-relative is allowed in the car), and fully licensed at 18. Some states allow licenses at 16 and I think in most places 14 or 15 year olds can get a license to drive on farm land.

I don't think you even need a licence to drive on farms or private property over here, a few people I knew at school learnt to drive early that way.

If we're talking public roads then it's 17 in any part of the country, no other restrictions once you've passed your test.

In my state, you can start driving 30 days before your 15th birthday, and you can get a provisional license, with restrictions; can't drive after 11PM unless you're coming home from work, you cannot have more people than seat belts in your car

My first car in high school http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_...1_original.jpg

Showed my wife this photo, it's the same exact model and trim as the one I had, and she said she couldn't understand how I was able to drive a "small car" with a hood that's half as long as some cars in Europe today , 3 speed automatic FTW

Unfortunately in Florida competent drivers are rare at any age. The law is 16/17 in Kentucky.
