This week's forecast has been a horrendous failure. Every day was supposed to have a max of 20-22°C, culminating with yesterday at 23-25°C, and ALL ENDED UP AT 16-18°C The worst and weirdest thing is that there was an official 23°C peak at 9pm which was PURE FANTASY in the city center (I went out to the Prom' at that time and there is absolutely no way it was warmer than 17°C).
The foehn wind porbably didn't reach the eastern side fo the Promenade. Yesterday at noon getting out of my office building I expected it to be warm but it felt like 17°C (it was already around 24°C in nearby Cannes). I thought "yet another failcast, this is getting ridiculous". Then wind picked up around 4 pm and getting out again in the evening it felt like a summer day in Paris. So that sudden temp spike at the airport reading is most likely true.

17°C isn't warm enough? Might reach 15°C tomorrow, first of the season.
Finally first thunder of the year, a big ground-shaking one at that.
