I'm happy because it is pleasantly warm outside still, it smells like summer for once, I can actually smell the moisture in the air and not an annoying chilly wind. Listening to The Smiths as well

Just waiting for these supposed thunderstorms to appear..

There are two small "storms" in the UK at the moment, one in West Sussex and the other in Oxfordshire/Gloucestershire area.

Storms seem to be struggling to develop. It seems odd that hardly anything wants to develop over land but a big mass of lightning strikes went out over the North Sea. Yet the English Channel kills of anything coming to the UK.

The Breakfast Club is on TV, great film.

Also, I think I may have heard a rumble of thunder.. maybe I'll stay up a while longer yet.

It is great! Whenever I watch it I always think of the soundtrack by Simple Minds 'Don't you'

Was probably a plane. Or a wheelie bin. Or a truck.

Happens to me all the time. But there doesn't seem to be any lightning anywhere in SE england now.

Yeah just checked and there is nothing. What a fail. That cloud all day for nothing. It was nice and warm and it still is, at least. Window wide open enjoying it while it is still 19C outside. It amazes me that people find this uncomfortable

19C & sunny may cause the inside temperature to rise to uncomfortable levels. 19C accompanied by high relative humidity can also be uncomfortable. It's also hard to cool down your room with open windows when it's that warm. If I were there right now without air conditioning, I'd be angry since I either wouldn't be able to sleep or I'd be having a miserable night's sleep. Unless I slept in a basement where it stayed cool (with a fan blowing on me). 19C itself is a bit too warm for me to feel comfortable sleeping in.

It wasn't sunny today so the house actually didn't get too hot at all, only 23C/74F inside

Right now it's 19C with 17C dew point and I have the windows wide open so it feels pretty nice with a light breeze. The house wasn't hot in the first place so it is just letting some fresher air in. If it was 30C and sunny yesterday then it would probably be a bit warmer in here now though
